Colette Rückert-Hennen to take over the personnel remit on the Board of Management of EnBW from March
Karlsruhe. Colette Rückert-Hennen will take over the personnel remit on the Board of Management of EnBW on 1 March. She will take over this role from Dr. Bernhard Beck, who will continue to be responsible for the areas of “law, compliance and auditing”, “boards” and “equity investment management” until he steps down from the Board of Management of EnBW as planned on 30 June 2019.
By appointing 58-year-old Colette Rückert-Hennen in July 2018, the Supervisory Board of EnBW already began the process to appoint a successor to Bernhard Beck, who is retiring at the age of 65, at an early stage.
“We are very pleased that Colette Rückert-Hennen will now take over responsibility for the personnel remit at EnBW”, explains Lutz Feldmann, Chairman of the Supervisory Board. “Mrs. Rückert-Hennen offers an outstanding mix of long-standing experience in modern HR policy, proven legal expertise and management experience in the areas of sales and customer management. This know-how will be very helpful to EnBW during its continued transformation.”
“I am delighted that I can now take on my new role”, adds Colette Rückert-Hennen. “I believe that a successful HR policy means above all providing the best possible support for the operational business units. And it is in precisely this area that I want to continue the successful work started by Bernhard Beck.”
Colette Rückert-Hennen will initially be responsible for the personnel remit. The qualified lawyer can call on more than 25 years of management expertise, primarily in the areas of human resources and management, at companies such as the international tourism group Thomas Cook, SolarWorld AG and most recently as Managing Director of the EJOT Group responsible for the areas of personnel and law, as well as environmental and building management.
